Happy 2nd Birthday!

We just celebrated Rhodes' 2nd birthday. We feel like rock star parents for picking out this awesome tricycle for him. He has spent every free second on it and loves it! We had a great weekend celebrating and playing with Brett, Cathy, and Kenadie and were sad to see them leave and head back home. The little cousins had a blast playing together.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday Daddy! We celebrated by eating at Crazy Hibachi. We were unsure of how Rhodes would behave since he is going through a not wanting to sit quietly stage right now. The chefs were so entertaining and the fire kept his attention until food was put on his plate. He even ate sushi (avocado roll) for the first time and loved it. It was a wonderful time as a family celebrating the life of a sweet daddy.

Dog Kennel

Rhodes loved getting in and out of the dog kennel at GiGi and PaPa's house. He was constantly in and out of it having the best time.

snack time is better when you are inside the dog kennel

Sprinkler Fun

Since the temperature has been beyond hot we haven't been able to play outside much. The grass needed to be watered and this little guy needed to run off some energy. He had a great time playing with his new sprinkler toy.

acting like a monkey, or telling us he's hungry....not sure which

Style All His Own

What a surprise to see little Rhodes making such a huge fashion statement. He has learned how to pull his shirt over his head and thinks it is the funniest thing ever.

The Beach

This year the beach was much more enjoyable for the little man. His little hands loved playing with the sand, the water wasn't an absolute favorite but he tolerated it well.

mommy and her sweet little boy
swimming in the pool since the beach was closed due to bad rip tides
learning how to build/destroy a sandcastle with the Cole kids, they were very patient with him.
what began as just picking the sand up............
turned into throwing it everywhere

Instead of taking pictures he decided to lay down and have everyone look at him on the ground. This kid seems to always become the center of attention.
