Christmas Eve Pictures

When I went to get Rhodes up this morning this is how I found him.  I guess he decided he would be more comfortable with one leg out.

Thanks to some church friends we were able to get some great pictures of Rhodes with Santa, unlike the 2 we got with the mall Santa.  This Santa was amazing!

Rhodes and Santa were having a talk about what he wanted this year for Christmas.

Santa Picture

This was Rhodes' first experience with Santa.  He was so interested in everything on Santa's chair that he wouldn't look at the camera for the picture.  Maybe next year we will get a picture of him looking.

Tacky Christmas Party 2

For the second year in a row our small group has gotten together for a Tacky Christmas Party.  It is always tons of fun to see each couple dressed up and the best part of the night, besides the food of course, are the gifts!!!!  You never know what treasure you will be taking home with you at the end of the night.  We had so much fun!

Rob and his singing Santa that I am sure is nicely displayed on his desk at work.

Jeremy truly opened the best gift of the night......... a Sonic chili cheese coney purchased earlier in the day. Probably the best gift opened all night, great job Jason!

I opened Happy Hank the blow up monkey which grows something like 400X in size.  Didn't get to bring it home, Kim stole it from me.

Ashlee had the best outfit, who would've thought about wearing a tree skirt as a cape?  The Fart Book she opened was pretty popular and got passed around numerous times, not sure who ended up taking it home.

Family Picture

After church we decided to attempt a family picture.  Rhodes had a full belly, was in a great mood, and loves to take pictures.  Here are a few from Sunday afternoon......

First we took a picture of him by himself in his bumbo under the tree.

This is where the fun began...... apparently Rhodes didn't want a family picture to be taken as he decided to have a meltdown.  After multiple attempts this is the best that we got.

He did pose nicely for individual pictures with mom and dad but didn't want anything to do with a family picture.

This is one of his funny faces he makes when he's not sure what you are saying to him.  Drew makes the same face.

Under The Christmas Tree

Here are a few pictures of Rhodes playing under the Christmas tree in his Christmas pajamas and little hat.

This is Rhodes acting like he is a roaring lion.  He makes some of the funniest noises and tries to repeat whatever you say to him.

Such a sweet little Christmas angel.  Thanks Abby for the outfit!

Random Pictures

Little Rhodes is turning into a little camera ham.  We our constantly taking pictures of the little guy and he loves it!  Here are a couple of random pictures from our daily photo shoots.

Rhodes inside of his Christmas Star from Aunt "Duchess" Jan.  He is going to wear this to stay warm on Saturday night while we are running the Jingle Bell Run.

Daddy and Rhodes time, watching tv.  I think this night they were watching Chuck or Heroes.  Rhodes loves to watch all of the colors on the tv and could stare at it for hours.

Rhodes waving at the camera in his new shirt.  Since he has the same name as Rhodes College we now know where to find clothing with his name on it. Thank you Kat for getting it for him.

"Who Needs Santa, I've Got Grandparents!"   This is Rhodes' Christmas shirt that he wore to Christmas at the FieldHouse last night.  Grandparents will definitely bring better gifts than Santa!

Turkey Day!

Our Thanksgiving was spent in Alabama with Brett, Cathy, and Kenadie.  We had a wonderful time and are so very thankful for such a wonderful family.

The little cousins checking each other out before taking a little afternoon nap.

Drew taking his afternoon nap.  He must have eaten too much!  Thanks to Uncle Brett there was tons of food to eat.

Thanksgiving night we went and visited  The Cole's who were also visiting family in Alabama.  We miss them so much and loved the time we were able to spend with them.

Mallie and Corbin had a blast playing baby Rhodes' car seat.  They also helped feed him and take care of his every need.

Weekend Update

Here are some pictures from our weekend.  Rhodes is now 3 months old, which is super hard to believe.  His little personality comes out more and more each day which is tons of fun.  He smiles and giggles constantly.

Proud to wear his Ole Miss shirt after the big victory over LSU on Saturday.  He sat in his bouncy seat and watched most of the game until he got tired and fell asleep.

Rhodes has found his tongue and loves to stick it out.

Alabama Trip

Rhodes and I flew to Alabama last week to spend time with Uncle Brett, Aunt Cathy, and precious baby Kenadie.  We were so excited to see Kenadie for the first time.

Rhodes and Kenadie "meeting" each other for the very first time.  What sweet little cousins they are.

Aunt Cathy and little Rhodes spending time together.

The weather was beautiful while we were there so we took lots of walks.  We bundled both kids up and snuggled them into the stroller together.  Rhodes is protecting his little cousin.

Cathy and I attempted multiple times to get pictures of the two together but it never seem to work how we wanted it to.  This is probably one of my favorite pictures, I love the smile on Rhodes face while Kenadie is screaming.

Uncle Brett is trying very hard to convince Rhodes that Auburn is the way to go.  Besides providing him with multiple Auburn outfits he worked on teaching him "War Eagle" every night along with the motions to the fight song.

This is a picture of the nightly "War Eagle" lesson.

Visit From Aunt Jan

Aunt Jan flew in from North Carolina to come visit little Rhodes before heading to Santa Anna for Grandmoma's birthday.  We enjoyed her visit and Rhodes loved meeting his "Duchess" for the first time.... it also helped that she came with gifts!
