Kenadie's 1st Birthday

Our sweet little niece celebrated her first birthday this past weekend. Her real birthday is October 30 but had the party early. She loved all of the attention and looked adorable in her birthday outfit.

Happy Birthday Kat

Happy Birthday Kat! We celebrated with dinner in Memphis at a fun place called the Beauty Shop. The food was great and the desserts were even better!

Rhodes enjoyed playing with Kat's glasses.

Trip to Alabama

We took a little trip to Alabama to visit Cathy, Brett, and Kenadie this past weekend. Papa and Gigi met us there as we were all preparing to celebrate Kenadie's first birthday. Rhodes and Kenadie had a blast together and played nonstop the entire time.

They loved splashing and playing in the bathtub together.

Taking turns pushing each other on the little car.

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday morning the entire family headed out to the pumpkin patch. This pumpkin patch had a petting zoo, hay ride, train ride, and tons of pumpkins. Kenadie and Rhodes had a great time and loved riding in Kenadie's new wagon.

Rhodes being "gentle" with the bunny, notice how he has grabbed a large amount of hair on the back end.

Dwarf House

During our recent trip to the Atlanta airport, Drew requested to stop by and visit the very first Chick-fil-a. The original Chick-fil-a was called the Dwarf House and is located 7 miles from the airport. He was very excited about getting to eat here. We found one very interesting item on the menu...... a Dwarf Burger. Yes, this Chick-fil-a serves burgers.

The little man loves to play with everything. Yesterday he apparently got tired of just eating his snack and decided to throw it all over the kitchen floor. You might have to look closely in the pictures since Cheerios blend well with our tile.

This is the clean up phase....eating off of the floor.
The dining room chairs create tons of fun for this little boy.

Playing Around the House

Rhodes is such a big helper at 13.5 months old. He wants to help mommy and daddy do everything. Now that he is walking it is very hard to keep him out of things. The word "No" is used a million times a day in our house as he tries to climb in, climb on, and take things out of cabinets, drawers, bookshelves, and closets. It truly is a new adventure everyday.
Playing with one of the decorative pumpkins.

Climbing on top of the toilet paper that we just bought at the store, and so very proud of himself.
Helping put groceries into the pantry and take them out again. Every time we go grocery shopping he watches us put all of the groceries into the refrigerator and clean out all of the old stuff, I guess he decided we needed to do the same thing in the pantry. Such a helpful little boy!

Colorado

Here are pictures from our relaxing trip to Colorado Springs. We were able to drive to the top of Pike's Peak, tour Focus on the Family, visit the Air Force Academy, and eat at lots of local restaurants.
