Fall

We have some really pretty yellow wildflowers blooming in a field across the street from our house so we have used it to take a few fall pictures of Rhodes and Piper.

 Grandmoma brought Rhodes this Rhodes Texas biscuit bag because it has his name on it.

Weekend Trip

We enjoyed a trip to Dallas a few weeks ago and were so excited to spend time with Grandmoma. Rhodes loved playing with her and having her watch him work puzzles.  This was her first time to meet sweet baby Piper.

Labor Day Weekend

We enjoyed a very fun filled family weekend.  It was full of college football games, baseball playing, kite flying, picture taking, running, cooking out, and just enjoying the wonderful weather outside.

It was actually chilly outside so Piper got to wear her legwarmers for the first time.

Rhodes is trying to pick Piper up and she is sticking her tongue out at him, how picture perfect!

Baseball time!  Rhodes is still learning how to properly wear his glove and throw a ball.  This continues to be a work in progress for him and a lesson in patience for us.

Rhodes got this kite for his birthday and this was the first perfect day for kite flying.  He was so excited about getting to fly it.  Daddy ended up doing most of the kite flying while Rhodes ran around the yard watching.

First Day of Preschool!  Daddy took Rhodes for a special breakfast at Waffle House before his first day.

Around the house

 This is one of Rhodes' birthday presents.  He likes to put one ball on the tee and hold the others in his hand while he tries to bat.  Daddy still has a lot to teach him.

 Piper is now 2 months old......this summer has flown by and can't believe this little baby girl is already 2 months old.
