Photos By Abby Wood

Our sweet friend came over to take pictures of Rhodes when he was just 6 days old.  Here are a few from the photo shoot, Rhodes was great and slept pretty much through the entire thing.

Check out Abby's website for more of her great photography:

Uncle Tyler

Uncle Tyler came to visit for the weekend and brought lots of fun gifts. We had a great time and can't wait for him to come back.

Lil Man  - Rhodes will love to ride him when he gets bigger!  He will have to play with his new stuffed horse until then.  Thankfully he left the horse in TN, we don't have a place in our backyard for it.

Uncle Tyler showed Rhodes lots of love and attention.

Rhodes is crying because he doesn't want his uncle to leave.

College Game Day

Little Rhodes is having a hard time picking his favorite college team to cheer for.  He seems to really like the SEC teams as he only has one Big 12 option.  He loves his new outfits but wonders if the outfit comes with paid tuition????

"War Eagle"  - Thanks Uncle Brett and Aunt Cathy for my new Auburn outfits

Daddy's Favorite team!!!!  (shirt was actually given to Rhodes by LSU fans!)

"Geaux Tigers"  -Thanks Cole Family for trying to convince me the Tigers are the best!
"Sic 'Em Bears"  - Thanks "Aunt" Jancy for all my new Baylor gear.  We hope to make it to a game to watch your dad coach the Bears to a victory!!!!!

Visit From Tennessee

This past week Drew's mom and grandmother drove down from TN to visit baby Rhodes.  This was Nana's first time to see her new great-grandson.  She enjoyed holding him and giving him lots of love while they were here.

Fun Times!

It has been a very rainy day as we are getting what is left of Hurricane Ike.  We decided it was time to pull out the play mat and let Rhodes try it out.  Not sure if he really knew what it was but it entertained him for about 10 minutes.

Visits and Firsts

It is hard to believe that Rhodes is almost 3 weeks old.  This past week was filled with visits from out of town family and a new adventure.  Drew's mom came to stay and help for the week, which was very much appreciated.  Carolyn's Grandmoma and Aunt Carol also came to visit on their way to the east coast.  We took Rhodes to his very first Texas High School football game.  Even though he slept through the game we know he enjoyed it and is already looking forward to his next game.  He also ventured out to the MAC store today.  Drew is trying to teach him the important things in life..... football and technology gadgets.
