It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas!!!

 As we are only a few days away from Christmas we have been taking pictures of Rhodes and Piper like crazy.  We have been trying to get a few "matching" pictures of Piper to go with the ones we took of Rhodes his first Christmas.

The top picture is of Rhodes and the one below it is of Piper in the same little star that Aunt Jan sent.  Piper wanted to squirm around in it the whole time and wouldn't stay still so we did the best we could getting a picture of her.

 While baking the other day Rhodes decided he was going to make cookies using the bag of flour that was on the counter.  He was so proud of himself and kept saying he was making cookies!

 Rhodes is such a great big brother, he was showing Piper how to turn her little radio on.

 One of our sweet friends made this adorable shirt for Piper.

 After church on Sunday Rhodes insisted that we take his picture in front of the tree and then one with his sister on his back.  Here are his two pictures he wanted.

Christmas in Ripley

We spent a wonderful weekend visiting family in TN and MS.  Our first stop was to introduce Piper to her great grandparents in MS.  They were so excited to meet our sweet baby girl and loved spending time holding her.  They were also thrilled to see Rhodes and see how much he has grown.

The rest of the weekend was spent in TN.  We loved our time with family.

Getting Ready for Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our house.  The tree is up, everything is decorated, cards have been mailed, parties have been planned, and Rhodes shared the story of baby Jesus with his sister.
