Camp Gigi 2010

Rhodes and Kenadie were able to spend cousin time together at Camp Gigi again this year. Gigi and Papa love having both of the grand babies there to visit. Cathy was also there to help with both of them since Gigi had to have shoulder surgery. They had a blast together and enjoyed getting into everything they possible could.

Anguilla

Anguilla is a beautiful small island in the British West Indies that I had the privilege of visiting for 5 days. Everything about the island and the resort was amazing. The water is so crystal clear and sand bright white. Cap Juluca, the resort we stayed at, offered breathtaking views from every room. All we had to do was open our back door and the beach was right there waiting for us. To get to the island you have to fly into St. Maarten, take a taxi to the French side of the island, take a 30 minute ferry ride, and then another taxi to the resort. It is well worth the travel once you arrive.beautiful view

Charleston/Isle of Palms

Vacation this year was spent at the beach! We had a wonderful and very relaxing time on the island of Isle of Palms. The beach was great during the day and the restaurants were amazing in downtown Charleston.

walking around in downtown
The boardwalk at the resort that led to the pool and beach. Each of the houses had so much character and were each a different color.

Our chairs and umbrella at the beach.

One night we went to dinner with my cousins that live in Charleston which was so much fun. Rock and I spent time in Charleston when we were little so it was fun to hang out there again as big kids.
walking around in downtown again
The Charleston Crab House become one of our favorite places to eat. We ate at the one downtown and loved it. Drew ate the Crab Bowl which was huge! The next night we thought we would try something out on Isle of Palms but when we arrived we realized it wasn't what we thought it would be. A local man told us about a brand new place right down the street that he said was wonderful. We ventured down the street, got a table outside, looked over the menu, and decided this wasn't the place for us. We decided to head to another location of The Charleston Crab House.

Herndon Family Reunion 2010

Saturday was the Herndon Family Reunion in Mississippi. We enjoyed spending time with family and eating great food. Rhodes loves to play with his cousin Zadabeth. They spent most of the day chasing each other around and eating.

Busted Lip

We have officially experienced our first busted lip. This happened at church yesterday when Rhodes fell on a toy. His little shirt was covered in blood and all he kept saying was "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" He was ready to run around again as soon as his teachers had him cleaned up and ate a full meal at lunch. This is one tough little boy.

Looking out the window watching daddy mow the yard. He laughed and smiled at him every time he walked by his window.

Silly Boys

Rhodes loves to play with hats but will not wear them properly. This is how he wanted to wear his hat to go out for a walk.

This is what play time looks like in the evenings at our house. Two very silly boys!
