Piper is officially 9 months old today. Her first birthday will be here before we know it.
Showing off her beautiful blue eyes. She loves to have her picture taken, probably because we take millions of pictures of her.
She has learned the art of planking and does this all the time.

Trip to GiGi and PaPa's
Lots of pictures from the last few weeks. We spent a week in Dallas with GiGi and PaPa and had a great time.
A trip to PaPa's always includes 2 things... a trip to the park and riding the carousel horses
PaPa and his littlest princess Piper
Daddy was on a mission trip all week at Mission Arlington so we went and met them for dinner one night at Babe's Chicken. Rhodes loves eating there!
Rhodes and Buddy playing with his new train pieces.
An attempt was made to get a picture in the TX Bluebonnets. The sun was so bright Piper didn't want to look up at the camera.
GiGi driving the stroller at the mall.
Rhodes getting to ride the horses...3 times!
The weather has been so beautiful that we have spent almost every evening outside. We bought these chairs last year and Rhodes thinks that Piper needs to always sit in her chair when we are outside, he doesn't understand that she is still a little small for it.
Both love playing with the soccer ball.
We spent a family Saturday morning at Cracker Barrel and after breakfast Drew attempted to teach Rhodes how to play a game of checkers.
Some of our sweet friends got this shirt for Rhodes while they were on vacation. He loves Cars!
Little P has started pulling up on everything. She's not really sure what to do after getting up though.

February
The month of February brought us an official crawler. Piper had been "crawling" for a few weeks but then really took off. This has enabled her to follow her big brother around and play with his toys. She wants to be where he is.
Rhodes took the stickers off of one of his Lightning McQueen cars and recreated Lightning McQueen on his sister. He was very proud of his work telling us "sister is Lightning McQueen"
Playing together with all of the cars. Rhodes only gets upset when she puts them in her mouth.
On Sunday morning this is where Rhodes was making his sister "happy" as he said. He pulled the stool over and climbed right in with her.
We got the tent back out of the closet the other day and he hasn't wanted to leave it since.
"The bigger the bow the better the mommy" This is truly believed at our house.
His feet are getting big enough to wear his boots from Uncle Tyler. He thought it was appropriate to wear them with his Superman jammies. I heard him a couple of times quoting Woody from Toy Story saying "There's a snake in my boot" This is one funny little boy that always has us laughing.
