Game Night

The student ministry hosted a Game Night on Saturday.  There were video games, board games, card games, and of course playing games with Rhodes.  Just like every other event Rhodes becomes the center of attention and was passed around all night long.

Rhodes and Daddy......  Rhodes was being passed around so much that his carrots from dinner decided to come back up and land on his shirt sleeve.  It didn't seem to bother him one bit.

Rhodes became a huge Rock Band fan as he watched the Senior Girls play.   His carrots also landed on a few of the girls but it didn't bother them.  

Play Time

Since Rhodes will be 7 months old on Friday, I thought I would post a picture of him the week he was born and a recent picture wearing the same shirt.  I had forgotten how little he was and what a big boy he is turning into.  Over the past 7 months he has developed a huge personality and a sweet smile.

This shirt was like a dress on him the first time he wore it, now it fits perfect!  It is hard to believe how much he has changed and is still changing everyday.

Rhodes loves playing with his toys and his daddy.  He loves the new blanket that his Great-Grandmother Mimi made for him.  Many hours of playtime have already been spent on it.

Daddy's hat is a little too big........ we might need to get him one a little smaller.  He does think it is funny when the hat falls in his face.

Smiley Faces and Web Cam

Rhodes wants to share his sweet smile with everyone.  He loves to smile and laugh when we say his name and make silly faces.  He is a very happy little boy with a great personality!

We hooked the web cam up so Rhodes could call his cousin Kenadie in Alabama. 
I think they were having a pretty serious discussion at this point.

Tyrannosaurus Rhodes

Thanks to Aunt Jan and Uncle Bert or Duchess and Duke, Rhodes has a dinosaur outfit to wear.  He looks pretty cute as a dinosaur!  PaPa named him Tyrannosaurus Rhodes.

Finding My Toes

Rhodes has discovered his toes!  He has decided they taste better than his hands and really favors his big toe.

Team Impact

Team Impact is at our church this week and we were excited to go see them last night.  These guys are amazing strong, physically and spiritually.  They have an incredible ministry and a unique way of sharing the Gospel.  Who wouldn't want to come see someone break walls of concrete, tear phone books apart, roll up a frying pan like a burrito, and run through a wall of ice?  Rhodes did sleep through most of it, which is shocking because of how loud it was.

During their performance one of the guys pressed this log above his head, Rhodes thought it was pretty cool to play with also.

Lots of Pictures

We have been very busy the past 3 weeks with travel for work, visits from friends and family, and a wedding.  Lots of pictures to recap the last few weeks.

We were able to have dinner with our sweet friends, Vip, Carrie, and Eliana that were in town on vacation.  Hopefully we will get to go visit them sometime soon.


We spent a wonderful weekend in Nashville for Tucker and Jessi's wedding.  It was a great weekend and a beautiful wedding that we were so excited to be a part of.

Jessi was such a beautiful bride.  We are so excited she is now "officially" part of our family!

Over the past couple of weeks we have introduced Rhodes to lots of new toys.  We got out this big soft puppy for him to lay on and play with.  He loves it, especially since it doesn't lick his face like Harley.

The boy loves to eat.  He would eat all day if I would let him.  He has really started liking the veggies.  This picture was taken after he ate an entire jar of green beans.

Rhodes loves to put things in his mouth.  He was trying to figure out how to get both toys in his mouth at the same time.

These two pictures were not posed, I promise.  I took him outside to take his picture by the tree and this is what I got.  I propped him up against the tree and by the time I got the camera ready he had fallen over into this position.  It was probably 15 seconds after this that he completely face planted into the ground.

The football is the same size as Rhodes but so fun to play with.
