Month in Review

I'm not sure where the month of July has gone but it has passed very quickly.  Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks.

Anniversary Trip!  We enjoyed watching the fireworks at Southlake Town Square.  It was a wonderful in town getaway since Carolyn couldn't travel on our real anniversary.

Ranger Game with students........that was before the temperature was over 100 everyday.  

                  Shower for Baby Rhodes.  Only a few weeks away from his arrival!  We can't wait to meet our little guy.

Such sweet friends to host such a wonderful shower for us.

Carter's 30th Birthday

We had so much fun celebrating Carter's 30th birthday with him.  It was great to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in awhile and enjoy the food at Willie's.

Bye Bye Black Truck

Drew has finally parted with the black truck. It was time to trade it in but still sad to see it go.

Not a very good picture but the only one we have right now of the new Commander.

Mother's Day

We spent a beautiful afternoon and evening with Carolyn's family. It was wonderful to spend time with family and enjoy Mother's Day together. We missed seeing our TN mom!

Lake Cypress Springs

We spent a very relaxing weekend at the lake with our good friends Carter and Julie. It was so peaceful and rejuvenating to be away from our busy schedules and be able to enjoy nature.

Strawberry Picking

We spent yesterday afternoon picking strawberries at Gnismer Farms and have now eaten almost all of the strawberries we had picked.


We picked 4 pounds and decided that was probably enough for the two of us. Brett picked about the same amount to take home to Cathy since she had to work and miss out on the fun.

It's A Boy!!!!!!

We found out on Tuesday that we will be having a little boy at the end of the summer. We are both so overly excited and can't wait to meet Rhodes Andrew. He is already such a blessing to us and we can't thank God enough for this little guy.
