Easter in Ripley

All the food, fun, and Easter egg hunts began on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day outside and to be able to spend it with family made it even better. This was the first year for Rhodes to hunt eggs and we were not sure how it would go. He caught on very quickly and had even more fun when he realized there were treats inside the eggs. Thanks Kat and Pops for a fun weekend in Ripley.

Rendezvous

A few weeks ago we met up with the rest of the Herndon family in Memphis, for some world famous ribs at The Rendezvous. Rhodes really enjoyed eating every last bite of meat on his rib.

St Patrick's Day and sunglasses

Our little leprechaun discovered his sunglasses from last year. These were a lot of fun to play with and a great teaching time also. He couldn't figure out how to get them on his head by himself and we are trying to teach him to say "please." The word "please" is not tops on his list of words to say and became very frustrated when we wouldn't put his glasses on for him without the magic word. The first couple of pictures are where he had assistance the others you can tell were done on his own.

one cool little man

studying his new book that has pictures of his grand and great-grandparents in it
trying really hard to get these on his head

He gave up trying at this point and was walking around the house like this carrying his tennis shoe.

Cowboy Rhodes

Our little cowboy dressed in his boots and Wranglers is learning how to take care of his horse today. He was hard at work this morning making sure his horse was ready to ride. Probably one of the cutest things to see.

MOVE Weekend

This past weekend was spent with little sleep, great food, friends, and lots of students. The theme of the weekend was MOVE........
Is God moving you into a relationship with Him, Is He moving you into a deeper relationship with Him, or Is He moving you beyond yourself to reach out to others for His kingdom?

It was a very challenging weekend for the students and we saw God MOVE in a mighty way. It was such an incredible weekend . Carter Morris challenged the students during every session and The Jared Wood band led worship in an amazing way.
I Dare You To MOVE!
