Cooking with Daddy

This morning Drew showed Rhodes the proper way to make breakfast. He watched every move his daddy made like he was really paying close attention so he could cook for us tomorrow morning.

New Toy

Our sweet little boy is now 13 months old and always looking for something new to play with. He loves playing with the remote control to the tv so Drew found and old one that he can play with. He loves to chew on it, throw it, practice walking with it, and act like he is changing the channels.

Playing in bed with Rebel

On most days after breakfast Rhodes spends time playing with all of his toys. While in other rooms of the house you can hear him banging things together, playing with all of his noise maker toys, and talking. It got really quiet this morning and when I went to check on him he was not in toy land, instead he had made his way to the bedroom to play with Rebel. He was having the best time playing with the furry bed and the dog.

Playing With Daddy

Rhodes loves to spend time with his daddy so it is no surprise that he wanted to lay on the couch with him while he was playing video games.

Free Chick-fil-a

We celebrated Labor Day by eating free chicken sandwiches at Chick-fil-a. This is one of our favorite places to eat so it was even better getting free food! Chick-fil-a offered a free chicken sandwich to anyone wearing a sports shirt on Labor day, so we all put on shirts and headed out. The manager at Chick-fil-a was impressed that we were supporting 3 different NCAA conferences......... Rhodes was representing Ole Miss, Drew supported TCU, and I was sporting my Baylor tshirt. We had a wonderful day as a family hanging out and eating Free chicken!

Notice the huge handful of chicken. He got his own sandwich and ate the entire piece of chicken.
cheeks are stuffed full of chicken.

Superman

We have our very own Super Hero living in our house.......Superman or Super Rhodes as he likes to be called! His outfit is complete with the little red cape that attaches to his shoulders.

end of August

After Rhodes wakes up from his nap everyday we have snack time. Besides his meals this is his next favorite time of the day. He tries to put as much food as he possibly can in those cute chubby cheeks before chewing.

He also likes to hold as much food as possible in his hands, no need to leave it in the bowl.

While mommy was folding laundry Rhodes decided to play with the tv remote control. He was pretty excited to play with a big boy toy.
