Play Time

Cousin Kenadie and Aunt Cathy came to visit from Alabama. We took a trip to Abilene to visit our family and spent the rest of the week playing in Gigi and PaPa's living room.

Rhodes LOVES his play table that Kat bought him. We have only had it a few weeks and it has already provided hours of entertainment.

Rhodes was sharing his table with Kenadie but kept the spoon for himself. The spoon comes off and is a rattle but he prefers to chew on it.

Everything goes in his mouth.

Our creative child used the turtle shell from one of Kenadie's toys as a hat.

May

It is very hard to believe that we are already 3 days into the month of June.  May has been a blur for us and our busy schedule.  Rhodes is continuing to change daily.  He is crawling everywhere, pulling up on all the furniture or anything else that will hold him, and eating constantly.   Our sweet little one loves attention and if you're not giving him enough he will quickly let you know!
Cheap entertainment...... he loves to play with boxes, empty bottles, and tupperware containers

Checking on the puppies to make sure they are ok.
Playing on the stairs and looking through the banister at our house.
Rhodes thinks the buggy is his recliner and makes himself right at home while shopping at Target.

I Love My Puppies!!!!

Rhodes has always known that we have 2 dogs but just recently he has decided he wants to play with them. He loves his puppies, even though Rebel is a very big puppy weighing 90 pounds.

Just one example of how "gently" Rhodes plays with Harley. Poor dog will probably be bald from Rhodes trying to pull all of his hair out.

Rebel likes to make sure Rhodes is well taken care of. No need for us to bathe him when the dog takes care of it for us.

8 Months Old

Time really has flown by this year, it is really hard to believe that our little man will be turning 1 year old in just a few months. He is growing like crazy and tons of fun to play with. He is very active and mobile, his crawl is pretty unconventional but he is constantly on the go.

Beating on daddy's back.

Instead of eating his fruit puffs he decided to mush them up and wear them on his chin.

That poor book has permanent teeth marks from all of Rhodes' chewing.

Our precious little 8 month old boy!

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter weekend filled with an egg hunt, yummy food, family, and celebrating the Resurrection.  Rhodes was a big star this weekend as he sported his new sunglasses and then got all dressed up in his very first Easter outfit.

Wearing his new cool shades sitting in Aunt Bonnie's lap.

Daddy and his sweet little "Paco"

Uncle Tucker and Aunt Jessi had a blast playing with Rhodes and taking tons of pictures with him and of him.

Playing in the chair at Kat and Pops house.

Easter Morning!  Aunt Jan (Duchess) sent these cute bunny ears for Rhodes to wear.  He wasn't really sure about them but let me take a few pictures with them on his head.

Daddy and Rhodes all dressed up for church in their stylish outfits, thank you GiGi for the Easter outfit.  Rhodes was a big hit at church with his cute hat.

Mommy and her sweet little one.
Rhodes didn't really care about what was in his Easter basket, I'm sure next year will be a different story.
