Visits and Firsts

It is hard to believe that Rhodes is almost 3 weeks old.  This past week was filled with visits from out of town family and a new adventure.  Drew's mom came to stay and help for the week, which was very much appreciated.  Carolyn's Grandmoma and Aunt Carol also came to visit on their way to the east coast.  We took Rhodes to his very first Texas High School football game.  Even though he slept through the game we know he enjoyed it and is already looking forward to his next game.  He also ventured out to the MAC store today.  Drew is trying to teach him the important things in life..... football and technology gadgets.

Aunt Cathy has been here to help get Rhodes on a schedule so he won't pull too many "All-Nighters" It has also been fun and very helpful watching her use her nursing skills. We have loved having her here and will be so sad when she leaves to go back to Alabama.

It is so hard to believe that Rhodes is 1 week old today. He is already changing so much as we continue to fall more and more in love with him each day. We are constantly thanking God for this blessing.

Rhodes Andrew has arrived!!!!! God has blessed us with such a precious little boy. Grandparents, Great Grandparents, and many friends have already come to visit.

Born: August 20, 2008

Weight: 7 pounds 7 ounces

Height: 18 inches long

Month in Review

I'm not sure where the month of July has gone but it has passed very quickly.  Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks.

Anniversary Trip!  We enjoyed watching the fireworks at Southlake Town Square.  It was a wonderful in town getaway since Carolyn couldn't travel on our real anniversary.
